Message from A NOTE FROM OAA
Tom O’Shaughnessy, appointed new competitions manager at Oceania Athletics.
As you may or may not be aware, the Oceania Championships are occurring in Suva, Fiji from the 28th of June until 1st of July this year.
Last year, at our regional championships, we held some masters events, and that is something that we are looking to do again for our Area Championships.
Currently we are looking at having masters events in the 100m, 400m, Long Jump, Shot Put and Discus Throw.
There will be however opportunity if athletes did want to compete in other events, that we would be able to accommodate them in the open events.
